Where client teams spend time

Projects

Use projects to separate product surfaces or brands. A project includes:

  • project key
  • source locale
  • supported locales
  • integration settings
  • QA and extraction-related settings

Integrations

Project settings can store integration defaults such as:

  • API base URL
  • SDK URL
  • default language
  • supported locales
  • URL mode (query or path)
  • language parameter
  • hreflang behavior
  • CSS masking and debug settings

Phrases

Use the phrases area to:

  • search and review strings

  • inspect translation status

  • batch update or import phrases

  • export phrases when neede

    d

Pages

Use pages to organize work at the page level and sync page-level views from phrase data.

Assets

Use assets to manage file-based upload and translation workflows. The current product surface includes upload URL generation, upload completion, and asset listing/detail views.

Team access

Use invites and role-based access so client teams can separate ownership between admins, reviewers, and translators.

Where to get the project key

The project key belongs to the project you want to connect. Use the correct project key for the correct runtime environment and product surface. If you rotate projects or environments, update the key in your integration.

  • Use one project per product surface or clear localization boundary
  • Keep supported locales aligned across project settings and runtime config
  • Review QA settings before enabling broad phrase extraction
  • Give translators and reviewers the minimum access they need
